Pvt. C. A. Hoffpauir, Arlington, Killed

ARLINGTON, Texas, Dec. 24—Mrs. C. A. Hoffpauir has been notified that her husband, Pvt. Charles A. (Snooks) Hoffpauir, who has seen duty in England, Scotland, France, Belgium and Germany, has been killed in action. Private Hoffpauir had lived in Arlington for eight years. He had distant relatives and many friends in Dallas. Survivors, other than his wife, include a 1 year old daughter, Rosan Hoffpauir; parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Hoffpauir, all of Arlington; two brothers, Pvt. E. B. Hoffpauir, Pyote Army Air Base; Pvt. R. K. Hoffpauir, Fort McClellan, Ala., and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Cox, Bell City, La.
