Paschal, Douglas O'Neal "Bud"

Douglas O’Neal “Bud” Paschal, 57, of Hindsville, Ark., died Friday, Feb. 11, 2005 at his home.

A memorial service was held at 11 .m., Wednesday, Feb. 16, at First Baptist Church in Hindsville, Ark.

He was born June 26, 1947, in El Paso, was a small engine and a U.S. veteran who served in the Vietnam War. He was a member of First Baptist Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars of Huntsville, Post #10,021.

Survivors include two sons, Douglas Paschal of Enid, Okla., Jacky Paschal of Ford Dodge, Iowa; one daughter, Rebecca Akins of Waco; his parents, Walter Byron “Red and Jackie Colleen Carr Paschal of Pecos; one brother, Byron Wayne “Shot” Paschal of Pecos; two sisters, Margaret Ryan of Midland; Patricia Figures of Georgetown and five grandchildren.

Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville, Ark. is in charge of arrangements.
