Fightin' Men: News of Texans in the Armed Services.

BELLS, Texas--Norman Brown, stationed with the infantry at Camp Wolters, left for service Sept. 23. He is the third son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brown of the Bells community to join the armed forces. Their first son to enter the service was U. L. Brown in January, 1941. He is with a military police division and has been training in Portland, Ore., and Seattle, Wash., for several months. His parents have received word that he has been called for foreign service. The other son, Pvt. Frank Leon Brown, entered the service in January and was sent to the proving grounds at Aberdeen, Md., where he has been stationed with a tank division.
