Army Lieutenant Completes His Training at Freeman Field, Seymour Ind.

Second Lieutenant James L. Daggett, son of Mr. and Mrs. James D. Daggett, of East Main road, Portsmouth, has received his wings in the army air corps at Freeman Field, Seymour, Ind. He is at home on furlough before going to Salt Lake City, Utah, where he has been assigned for active duty.

A graduate of the Rogers High School in the Class of 1940, Lieutenant Daggett enlisted in the air corps about a year ago and was under training in Tennessee, Florida, and Alabama, before going to Freeman Field for his final air corps instruction. He was formerly employed at Grant's and at the J. T. O'Connell Company.
