Letourneau, Raymond A.


Raymond A. Letourneau, 19, ship's cook third class, U. S. N., who went through training at the Naval Training Station here following his enlistment last December, was killed in the train wreck in North Carolina last Thursday the Navy Department informed his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond E. Letourneau of Providence, Saturday night. He was serving on the U. S. S. Biddle and was paying a surprise Christmas visit to his home, the first in a year since he enlisted. His parents did not know he was coming home until informed of his death.
