Pittston Notes.

Charles L. Atwater, a Civil War Veteran, was found dead on Tuesday in his room at the American House, Carbondale. Death was due to asphyxiation, an open jet having flooded the room with poisonous gas while he slept. Deceased was well known in this city. Mrs. Charles Law and William M. Atwater of West Pittston, are sister and brother of the deceased.
