Confederate Soldier Buried.

Funeral services of William E. Morris, aged 73, and ex-Confederate soldier, were held Thursday afternoon from Walter C. Kenworthy’s chapel. Interment was made in Rose City Cemetery. Members of the A. J. Smith Post, Grand Army of the Republic, attended the services in a body in honor of the veteran they fought. Mr. Morris was a retired farmer. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary A. Morris.
