Bushong, John

DIED--At the residence of his father, Wm. Bushong, near Oneida, O., August 19th, JOHN BUSHONG, aged 21 years.

He had gone out as a member of the O. N. G., was taken with measles, from which he did not recover. He was removed home, but survived only ten days. He gave evidence months before his death, as well as on his death-bed, that he was prepared for death. A natural diffidence and sense of self-unworthiness had kept him from publicly professing Christ. Many friends mourn their loss, but not without hope.
