1892, Five Points, Ohio. Moved to Indiana in 1896. Laborer.
Entered service September 21, 1917, Greenfield, Ind. Sent to
Camp Taylor, Ky. Transferred to Camp Shelby, Miss.;
assigned to Replacement Draft. Overseas June 12, 1918;
assigned to Company F, 168th Infantry, 42nd (Rainbow)
Division. Killed in action July 26, 1918, near Epieds, France.
Buried in Cemetery at Seringes-et-Nesles, Aisne.
