Barber, Scott

SCOTT BARBER was born in Middletown, Virginia, and was a student ; he enlisted August 12th, 1862, aged twenty-four years, and was in the following battles : Harper's Ferry, Gettysburg and Auburn Ford ; he was severely wounded in action at Auburn Ford, Virginia, October 14th, 1863 ; appointed Corporal November 1st, 1863, and discharged with the Regiment at the close of the war. Co. F, 126th Regiment Infantry New York, Disaster, struggle, triumph. Dedicated to the 126th Regiment of New York State Volunteers, 1870
