Wilson, Hiram

HIRAM WILSON was born in Yates county, New York, and by occupation was a farmer ; he enlisted August 11th, 1862, aged eighteen years, and Was in action at Harper's Ferry, Auburn Ford, Bristow Station, Mine Run and Morton's Ford ; he was detached in the provost guard at Head-quarters, 2d Army Corps, April 4th, 1864, and served in that capacity with the army until the close of the war, when he was discharged with the Regiment. Co. K, 126th Regiment Infantry New York, Disaster, struggle, triumph. Dedicated to the 126th Regiment of New York State Volunteers, 1870
