Ellis, Minott

Minott Ellis died in Sanford, Fla., March 6, 1924. He was born in Keene, N. H., March 5, 1841, came to Greenfield in 1869 and went to work for Orramel Moore as a blacksmith, removed in 1882 to Baldwinsville where he had a blacksmith shop before going south. He enlisted August 7, 1862 in Co. I, 9th N. H. Volunteers; appointed Corporal November 1864; mustered out June 10, 1865.
