J. C. Trobrough Missing

Corp. Jerome C. Trobrough, 3858 Seward Street, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Trobrough, 1543 Park Avenue, has been reported missing in action since August 9 by the War Department.

Corporal Trobrough, aerial engineer on a Liberator bomber operating from the Admiralty Islands, was seen by pilots of other planes to crash into the ocean.

A former World-Herald carrier, he was inducted into service in February, 1941, and went overseas in June, 1944.
