Ptacek, Naval Pilot, Missing

Stationed on Carrier in Pacific

Word that Ensign Henry Ptacek, 22, is missing in action in the Pacific has been received by his mother, Mrs. Julia Ptacek, 2916 North Fifty-fourth Street.

Stationed aboard a carrier, Ensign Ptacek was the pilot of a Hellcat fighter plane. In service since November, 1942, he has been overseas seven months.

He is an Omaha native and had attended Benson High School.
