Corp J. G. McAleer Killed in France

Corp. Joseph G. McAleer, 29, formerly of Omaha, was killed in action in France October 7, according to a war department telegram. He was a brother of Walter McAleer, 2765 Chicago Street, and Mark McAleer, 2741 North Forty-eighth Street. Another brother is Dr. E. C. McAleer, of Auburn, Neb.

Corp. McAleer was in an anti-tank division, and entered the service in 1939. He went to France after service in Italy.

He was son of the late Mrs. Mary McAleer of Omaha. His wife, Margaret, lives in Hollister, Cal.
