George Ingram of Co. D, First Montana, Knocked Over July 15.

Helena, Sept. 26.---George F. Ingram received a letter today announcing that his son George, who enlisted with Helena company D, Montana volunteers, had been shot and killed by insurgents in the Philippines July 15 last. Young Ingram did not return home with the regiment, but remained at Manila, securing a position as a civilian. In company with some officers he was ambushed and fired upon by natives.
