27th Massachusetts Regiment Deaths, May 1863

27th Regiment--

The 27th reg., Lieut. Col. Lyman commanding, at Newborn, shows 517 men and 24 officers present for duty, 104 men sick, 214 men and 14 officers on detached service, 9 men absent sick, 23 discharged for disability. I. Powers, Co. B, died April 7; N. W. Robinson, Co. I, April 26 and W. Dwyer, Co. E, April 27, the latter from wounds.
