Pierce, Albert E.

Albert E. Pierce was born in Collinsville, Ct., son of Elisha and Hannah (Sherman) Pierce, died in Greenfield June 2, 1911, aged 73 years, 10 mos., after living in town five years. He enlisted in the navy, being Captain of a boat's crew on the gun-boat gunboat " Marmora" and was in a number of battles. He was a member of the U. S. Grant Post, G. A. R., of Chicago.
