BIGGERT, JAMES VANCE Captain

Son of William L. and Anna E. Biggert (both deceased);
born February 23, 1868, Louisville, Ky. Family moved to
Jeffersonville, Ind., in 1882. Agent in the Quartermaster's
Depot, Jeffersonville, during the Mexican Controversy in 1916.
Commissioned Captain in Quartermaster's Corps May 21, 1917,
and served in that capacity until his death, January 9, 1919,
Jeffersonville, Ind. Buried in Eastern Cemetery, Jefferson-
ville, Ind. Survived by widow, Harriett Polk Biggert, Jeffer-
sonville, Ind.
