Son of Thomas and Mollie Andrew; born January 16, 1895,
near Clay City, Clay County, Ind. Teacher, Cleveland, Okla.
Entered service May 4, 1918, Brazil, Ind. Sent to Camp
Taylor, Ky.; assigned to 30th Company, 8th Battalion, 159th
Depot Brigade. Transferred to Camp Beauregard, La.;
assigned to Machine Gun Company, 153rd Infantry. Sailed for
France August 6, 1918; assigned to Company C, 313 Machine
Gun Battalion. Died November 4, 1918, from wounds received
in action.
