Alsip, Clifford Hartzell - Corporal

Son of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Alsip; born February 1, 1895,
near Brazil, Ind. Entered service June 26, 1918, Brazil, Ind.
Sent to Camp Sherman, Ohio; assigned to 7th Company, 2nd
Battalion, 158th Depot Brigade. Embarked for overseas
September 9, 1918; assigned to Company E, 357th Infantry.
Wounded in battle of Argonne Forest, and died November 13,
1918 in Base Hospital No. 68, France. Survived by widow,
Helen Alsip, Poland, Ind.
