Son of Herbert and Eleanor E. Day; born July 6, 1897,
Jeffersonville, Ind. Chauffeur in U. S. Quartermaster Corps,
Jeffersonville. Notified to report for training, Warsaw, Ind.,
and after having taken the oath of allegiance, was stricken with
influenza and died October 14, 1918, Jeffersonville. Buried in
Eastern Cemetery, Jeffersonville, Ind. Survived by widow,
Ethel G. Walteney Day, Port Fulton, Clark County, Ind.
