STURGEON, CHARLES G. .... Sergeant

Son of Gilbert and Minerva Sturgeon; born May 17, 1890,
Nashville, Ind. Enlisted in U.S. Regular Army March 19, 1915.
Sent to Jefferson Barracks, Mo.; assigned to Company G, 7th
Infantry. Sent to the Mexican Border. Embarked for over-
seas October 31, 1917; assigned to Company M, 18th Infantry,
1st Division. Participated in battles of Cantigny, Montdidier,
Noyon, Aisne-Marne, and St. Mihiel. Died October 11, 1918,
from wounds received in action. Buried in Langres, France.
