Shulz, Walter - Corporal


Son of Adolph R. and Ada Walter Shulz; born June 10, 1895,
in Munich, Bavaria. Educated in the schools of Delaven, Wis.,
and for three years was a student in the Chicago Art Institute.
Lived with parents in Nashville, Brown County, Ind., for
several years. Enlisted in U.S. Regular Army May 9, 1917,
Chicago, 111. Sailed June 10, 1917, attached to Headquarters
Company, 16th Infantry, 1st Division. Fought at Cantigny,
Marne, St. Mihiel, and Argonne. Died of disease December
12, 1918, Traben, Germany.
