BOARD, ALBERT B. Private

Son of John William (deceased) and Mary Board; born May
14, 1888, Meade County, Ky. Living in Fort Wayne, Ind.,
when he entered service July 9, 1917. Sent to Fort Benjamin
Harrison, Ind.; thence to Camp Merritt, N. J. Overseas in
December, 1917; assigned to 15th Ambulance Company,
Medical Detachment. Participated in battles of Chateau
Thierry, Soissons, St. Mihiel, Argonne-Meuse. Died of pneu-
monia February 8, 1919. Buried in Maple Lawn Cemetery,
Pennville, Jay County, Ind.
