Faust, Laurence


Son of Daniel and Clara Faust; born October 14, 1893,
Branch County, Mich. Living on a farm near Mongo, Lagrange
County, Ind., when he entered service September 20, 1917,
Lagrange, Ind. Sent to Camp Taylor, Ky. Transferred to
Camp Shelby, Miss.; assigned to Company B, 139th Machine
Gun Battalion. Went overseas June 12, 1918; transferred to
Company B, 8th Machine Gun Battalion, 3rd Division. Killed
in action October 15, 1918. Survived by widow, Eva Faust,
Mongo, Ind.
