ERNSBERGER, CHARLES W. - Private

Son of Charles F. and Clara Etler Ernsberger; born August
8, 1895, Lagrange County, Ind. Laborer. Entered service
July 26, 1917. Sent to Ft. Thomas, Ky.; assigned to Com-
pany F, 59th Infantry. Embarked for overseas May 6, 1918;
assigned to Company A, 10th Machine Gun Battalion. Par-
ticipated in battles of Marne, Verdun, and Argonne. Died of
tuberculosis July 9, 1919 in Government Hospital, New York.
Buried in Bellevue, Mich.
