Fockler, Harold H.


Son of Cyrus B. and Harriet M. Fockler; born in April, 1900,
(exact date not known), Canton, Ohio. Moved to Warsaw,
Ind. in 1910. Enlisted in U.S. Coast Artillery January 3,
1918, Chicago, Ill. Sent to Jefferson Barracks, Mo. Trans-
ferred to Camp Jackson, S. C. Went overseas in May, 1918;
assigned to 5th Company, Coast Artillery Corps. Died Sep-
tember 22, 1918, in hospital, Chateau-Thierry, from wounds
received in action. Buried in Chateau-Thierry Cemetery,
