ADAMEC, JOSEPH Private

Son of Stephen and Anna Adamec; born March 19, 1893,
Austria. Came to U.S. in 1910, and to Gary, Ind. in 1911.
Laborer. Enlisted in U.S. Regular Army April 15, 1917, and
sent to Ft. Thomas, Ky. Transferred to El Paso, Tex. ; assigned
to Company E, 10th Infantry. Embarked for overseas June
14, 1917; assigned to Tank Corps. Took part in drive at
Cantigny. Died from accidental causes, November 14, 1918.
