COCKERHAM, FRANCIS BRITTIAN - Seaman

Son of James S. and Etta Cockerham; born October 16, 1895
in Oklahoma. Moved with parents to Monroe City, Knox
County, Ind. following year. Employe of Chevrolet Motor
Company, Flint, Mich. Entered U.S. Navy, Lansing, Mich.
Went into training at Great Lakes Naval Training Station, Ill.
Served in European waters from May 3, 1918 until date of
death, July 16, 1918. Buried at Monroe City, Ind.
