ferred to Camp Shelby, Miss. Overseas June 11, 1918; assigned
to Company E, 28th Infantry, 1st Division. Killed in action
Meuse-Argonne Offensive, October 4, 1918. Buried in Argonne
American Cemetery, Romagne, Grave 156, Section 57, Plot 3.
Cited for gallantry in action.
