Buckner, Harrison Benjamin

BUCKNER, HARRISON BENJAMIN (Colored) - Private

Son of William and Winifred Buckner (Cosby); born October
24, 1893, Cincinnati, Ohio. Employed as laborer, Madison,
Ind., when he entered service August 3, 1918. Sent to Camp
Dodge, la.; assigned to 75th Company, 163rd Depot Brigade.
Transferred to Company F, 804th Pioneer Infantry. Overseas
in September, 1918, and died of pneumonia October 3, 1918.
(Hospital unknown.) Body returned to U.S., and buried in
Springdale Cemetery, Madison, Ind.
