Tucker, Russell Ray - Corporal


Son of Ottis A. and Lola Brunson Tucker; born January 8,
1898, Jay County, Ind. Farmer. Enlisted in U.S. Regular
Army June 16, 1916, Columbus, Ohio. Served on Mexican
Border until April, 1918, when he went overseas with Company
B, 13th Machine Gun Battalion. Participated in St. Mihiel
Offensive, Meuse-Argonne Offensive. Wounded in action, he
died October 21, 1918, in French Field Hospital, near Bonpont.
Buried in American cemetery, near Les Placys, Meuse.
