Whitelock, Charles Nottingham


Son of Orlando W. and Jennie Nottingham Whitelock; born
June 10, 1896, Huntington, Ind. Attending Elon College, N. C,
when he enlisted in Ambulance Corps, Red Cross Company 18,
August 4, 1917, Indianapolis, Ind. Sent to Camp Grant, Ill.;
assigned to 3rd Ambulance Company, 311th Sanitary Train.
Died October 4, 1917, Base Hospital, Camp Grant, Ill., fol-
lowing operation for appendicitis. Buried in Mount Hope
Cemetery, Huntington, Ind.
