CRAWFORD, RAYMOND Private

Son of James and Allie Crawford; born December 23, 1889,
Science Hill, Ky. Moved with parents to Noblesville, Ind. in
1891. Steel worker. Entered service September, 1917, Pitts-
burgh, Pa. Sent to Camp Lee, Va. ; then to Camp Greene, N. C.
Transferred to Camp Merritt, N. J. Went overseas in April,
1918, and served in Company F, 30th Infantry, 3rd Division.
Killed in action October 26, 1918, Argonne Forest.
