HIATT, WILLIAM WALTER Private

Son of John B. (deceased) and Matilda H. Hiatt (Bail) ;
born January 21, 1894, Buffalo, Kan. Family later moved to
Jonesboro, Grant County, Ind. Electrician. Entered service
December 15, 1917, Marion, Ind. Sent to Jefferson Barracks,
Mo. ; assigned to Aviation Section of Signal Corps service. Died
of scarlet fever and pneumonia January 15, 1918. Buried at
Fairmount, Ind.
