Son of Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Eppers; born July 31, 1895,
Kenosha County, Wis. Family later moved to Elkhart County,
Ind. Fireman, New York Central Railroad. Entered service
June 15, 1918, Elkhart, Ind. Sent to Detroit, Mich.; assigned
to 9th Motor Supply Train, Company D. Died of influenza
December 9, 1918, while home on furlough, Elkhart, Ind.
Buried in Catholic Cemetery, Elkhart, Ind.
