BADINA, EUGENE J. - Musician, 1st Class

Son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Badina; born in 1892, Alsace-Lor-
raine. Came to U.S. in 1894. Moved to Elkhart, Ind. in
1913 from Buffalo, N. Y. Musician. Called into service
September 22, 1917, Elkhart, Ind. Sent to Camp Taylor, Ky.;
assigned to 72nd Company, 18th Battalion, 159th Depot Bri-
gade; then to 336th Infantry Band. Died April 18, 1918, Camp
Taylor, Ky., from accidental wounds. Buried in Grace Lawn
[Cemetery, Elkhart, Ind.
