Anderson, Charles O. - Sergeant


Son of Claas P. and Catherine Anderson (Imler); born
December 28, 1887, Elkhart, Ind. Automobile mechanic.
Enlisted in U. S. Regular Army in April, 1917, Jackson, Mich.
Sent to Camp McArthur, Tex. ; assigned to Company M, 31st
Infantry. Promoted to Sergeant. Went overseas in February,
1918. Killed in action October 9, 1918, Argonne Meuse Drive.
(Burial place unknown).
