Alleman, Fravel Edward - Corporal


Son of Frank and Agnes Kurtz Alleman; born August 1,
1893, Kansas City, Kan. Moved to Goshen, Ind. in 1903.
Traveling salesman. Enlisted in U.S. Regular Army June 19,
1917. Sent to Ft. Thomas, Ky.; assigned to Battery C, 16th
Field Artillery. Overseas in May, 1918; attached to 4th Divi-
sion. Died of disease July 15, 1918, in Navy Base Hospital,
No. 1, Brest, France. Body was brought home in May, 1920,
and buried in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Goshen, Ind.
