Farmer. Called into service August 26, 1918, Jasper, Ind.
Sent to Camp Custer, Mich.; assigned to 4th Company 1st
Battalion, 160th Depot Brigade. Transferred to Company E,
14th Ammunition Train. Died of influenza October 13, 1918,
Camp Custer, Mich. Buried in Evangelical Lutheran Ceme-
tery, Dubois, Dubois County, Ind.
