DEEMS, HARRY - Corporal

Son of William and Rosa Deems (Dill); born May 7, 1894,
Kendallville, Noble County, Ind. Family moved to Muncie in
1897. Machinist. Entered service June 15, 1918, Indianapolis
Chamber of Commerce School. Sent to Camp Sheridan,
Ala.; assigned to duty as Automobile Mechanic, 1st Casual
Detachment. Drowned September 24, 1918, Montgomery,
Ala. Buried in Beech Grove Cemetery, Muncie, Ind.
