KNOX, GEORGE - Private

Son of John and Phoebe Knox (McNabb); born October 1,
1891, near Sedan, Kan. When one month old his parents
moved to Dekalb County, Ind., and settled near Corunna.
Deceased was reared on a farm. Enlisted in Coast Artillery
March 12, 1918; sent to Columbus Barracks, Ohio. Trans-
ferred to Ft. Hancock, N. J.; assigned to 24th Company, Coast
Artillery. Died of pneumonia April 26, 1918.
