ALLEN, RAY - Private

Son of Mount and Nancy Allen; born August 12, 1895,
Washington, Ind. Farmer. Entered service August 27, 1918,
Washington, Ind. Sent to Camp Sherman, Ohio; assigned to
23rd Company, 6th Battalion, 158th Depot Brigade. Died
October 4, 1918 of pneumonia, Camp Sherman, Ohio. Buried
in Oak Grove Cemetery, Washington, Ind. Survived by widow,
Myrtle Ingle Allen, and one son, James Elwood Allen, Washington, Ind.
