service June 14, 1918, English, Ind. Trained at Indianapolis;
Camp Sheridan, Ala.; Detroit, Mich. Assigned to
Company D, 9th Motor Supply Train. Died of pneumonia
December 2, 1918, Akron, Ohio. Buried, Leavenworth, Ind.
American Legion Post, Leavenworth, Ind., named in his honor.
Survived by widow, Lela Mode Davis, and children, Revonah,
Irma, and Ralph Davis, Leavenworth, Ind.
