Holman, Adam Jr.


Marine Pfc. Adam Holman Jr., USMC 18, 630 Okanogan, was killed 16 Jun (1969) while engaged in hostile action four miles south of Ca-Lu in Quang Tri Province, Republic of Vietnam., while on patrol in that area. Born 31 Oct 1950, in Bremerton, he came to Wenatchee with his parents from Ephrata in 1961. He attended Wenatchee schools. He enlisted in the US Marine Corps 29 Feb 1968, and had served in Vietnam since 10 Dec 1968. He was a member of the Catholic Church. Surviving are his parents Mr. and Mrs. Adam Holman Sr., at the home; two brothers Billie and Mathew Holman, at home; two sisters. Mrs. Paul Penhallegon, Provo UT, and Miss Ruth Holman at home; and his grandparents,Mrs. Ruth Hammer, Inglewood CA, Mrs. Peter Holman, Mason City IA, and William Huckins, Pukwana SD. Military funeral services will be announced by Jones& Jones Funeral Home. (Wenatchee Daily World, Wenatchee 25 Jun 1969)
