Howard, Rudolf

AUGUSTA, Sept. 25.—Rudolf Howard, colored, private, Company B, 402nd Labor Battalion, Camp Hancock, was killed by a Georgia railroad train at Grovetown, yesterday. The body has been removed to the hospital morgue here and the coroner of Columbia county has been notified. There is no explanation of the homicide. It is the inference that the soldier was walking along the track and was struck by a passing train.
