BENJAMIN WALLACE GREEN

KERMIT (Staff)--Benjamin Wallace Green, 78, retired auditor, died Friday night in Memorial Hospital here after a long illness.

Green had lived here one year, coming to Kermit from Wink, where he had resided for 36 years. He was a veteran of World War 1 and a member of the Baptist church.

Green was a native of Cove, Ark., and married Thelma Eunice Middleton Aug. 20, 1920, in DeQueen, La.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the chapel of the Cooper Funeral Home with burial in the Kermit Cemetery.

Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Phillips of Kermit and five grandchildren.
