Beck, Charles W.

BECK, CHARLES W. - Private

Son of Omar T. and Etta M. Beck; born October 7, 1893,
near Hot Springs, Ark. Family moved to Butlerville, Jennings
County, Ind. in 1896. Farmer. Went to North Dakota shortly
before declaration of war, and enlisted July 23, 1917, Minot,
N. D. Sent to Camp Greene, N. C; then to Camp Mills.
Went overseas in December 1917; assigned to Company D,
18th Infantry, 1st Division. Killed in action July 18, 1918,
battle of Soissons.
