Death of Roy Chichenoff

Private Chichenoff was killed at the battle of Chirye when his platoon was cut-off by a North Korean Battalion. Most of the men managed to retreat, burn their jeeps, and march 30 miles through the mountains. Some of the men were killed in the battle and some were captured and executed. My father was at the battle, but he is uncertain how Mr. Chichenoff met his fate.
